BLOOMINGTON ? The Rent Is Too Damn High Party?s Jimmy McMillan joined WJBC?s R.C. McBride, Jim Fitzpatrick and Kim Wells Monday to originally discuss the 2012 presidential campaign.
McMillan then told WJBC listeners he had an even bigger announcement.? ?My announcement is that in 2013 I will run for mayor of the City of New York.? Right now, the way it looks, I will win that seat,? McMillan said.
?All I have to do is throw my hat in the race for you.? I heard it on your network first that Jimmy McMillan is running for mayor of the City of New York in 2013. Put the word out and New York City will fall into a frenzy.?
McMillan has run for office at least six times since 1993, including in the 2010 New York gubernatorial election.
